Less transporting gets done since the last time.
Frank had re-retired to the Miami, doing boring stuff like driving rich kids to school, when he stumbles into a plot to kill all the DEA heads by kidnapping the boss’s son, inject him with a engineered virus, and release him back so that daddy can go and infect everyone.
To stop it, Statham has to drive his car over increasingly preposterous CGI scenes and some fight scenes, not so inventive since the previous time. The French policeman is here too, on vacation.
The bad guy’s girlfriend is a Harley Quinn type with much less clothes, ironic considering this was toned down to keep it PG-13. The final showdown is over in seconds, what a complete letdown.
