Time slows down to a crawl when watching a life crashing down like this. It takes a very long time afterwards to come back again.
This is one of the few time-distorting films I ever seen. Something that can only be seen in Enter the Void, for example.
This a fantastic tour de force by Elizabeth Moss, going from absolute wreck to loving mother (and daughter). Her loved ones stick with her for a really long time, and it ultimately pays off. It might have gone wrong at any time though…
