Fuggedaboutit, Johnny. It’s Vegas with no name. Yup, it’s a film noir disguised as a Western, and vice versa.
It’s also really about Johnny Depp himself. The chameleon actor, unsure of what’s his own personality. Of course, in the end his fakery ends up making him the sheriff and saving the world. Not egocentric at all.
