How to spin nothingness into a far-right nativist rallying cry against foreigners, courtesy of a pliant press on a summer weekend.
Several impressive things: the same “eye witness” talks to all TVs with a slightly different stories (and caps!), vagueness on how many robberies actually took place (a single criminal complaint, outside the beach itself). The cops use the situation to ask for more money.
