Poor Things
This seems like Lost in Translation from the male perspective? That’s what I took from that middle section. The epilogue seems tacked on, something that does not belong.
It’s too weird for a conventional film, but doesn’t cross the line twice into the absolutely preposterous. A restrained Terry Gilliam with more sexy times.
At it’s basic, it’s a Bildungsroman for an adult (who is actually a child?).
