Jennifer Jason Lee is the prototypical intrepid female reported, and that staff meeting at the paper with Bruce Campbell is goddamn genius. The whole thing never skips a beat, absolutely brilliant. She gets another magnificent scene inside the clock when the god-like janitor exposes her character flaws, a real gutpuch.
