Seed of Chucky
Painfully unfunny. Yes, this is the middle of the series, but that doesn’t matter, there’s no canon anyway.
The bulk of the film consists of Jeniffer Tilly making fun of herself. She is a very good actress, but this film is beyond redemption.
The best part is when they mention Bound, since it reminded me of that early Wachowski film, and for a moment my mind floated away from crass jokes and primitive “humour”. I’d rather watch that Thelma and Louise alternative than to endure any other Chucky horribleness.
For some reason Ebert watched this is instead of tearing it a new one, it praises Tilly. I’m baffled.
