The Mummy
Another Uncharted live action “adaptation”, Indiana Jones is too old fashioned now. It’s not even on the same league as the Stephen Sommers films.
At least The League of Extraordinary Gentleman had a new plot. The sequel hook just infuriates me.
You can tell it’s Uncharted because the main character is a thief, tempered by an intelligent girl that also pushes the plot forward with her smarts. You fight mooks in a globetrotting manner.
On Indiana Jones the main character dude is the smart one and morally in the clear. The girl is just there looking pretty (or whining, like in Temple of Doom).
Doesn’t raise to the level of acceptable lazy Sunday popcorn flick.
