This is really a retread of older films, adapted to differing realities. Sadly this is something so taboo, most American actors ran away from this like the plague, it seems.
The story of a boy that prefers snails to oysters. He’s bullied for his love of snails and his mother is unable to care for him, so he finds an informal surrogate family that takes care of him during the worst outbursts from his mother. The surrogate father is her dealer, so this makes them really close.
Blue is really the warmest colour (both more direct, and less). Janelle Monaé will call him by his name?
