The Nutty Professor
This is a remake of a Jerry Lewis film, he is credited as producer. Eddie Murphy playing a crazier version of itself is appealing, but there are way too many fart jokes, way way too many.
Dave Chapelle being the cringe stand up comedian, just insulting the audience, is pretty apropos. It’s also hilarious to have Jada Pinkett (not Smith yet) react badly to a comedy skit on stage. Chapelle didn’t get slapped in the face at least.
