Scream
That’s what I did when I noticed the Miramax logo. The Weinstein treatment. It’s so meta, it even opens with the youngest Barrymore clan member being slashed, to prove this is not your regular Hollywood film.
It’s not so meta it disappears up it’s own ass. It’s a nice blend of horror movie trivia references, and a whodunnit filled with red herrings, twisting and turning until the bitter end, with several fake “endings”.
