RoboCop
I mean, if you remove all the RoboCop references this is not a bad film. A bit on the nose, but much less po-faced than Elysium. They even brought in the guy from The Wire for street cred, not to mention Batman and Commissioner Gordon.
This is a standard thriller with dirty cops, Da Chief which is actually the dirtiest cop, TV pundits fanning the flame of CRIME. It’s like Elite Squad 2, with added action scenes.
Yes, I also saw Blade Runner and Sicario, no need to remind me of those better films. You don’t even have any Alejandro-alike.
