I’d buy that for a dollar! A bit dated now, but still prescient. Mainstream big budget films where a strike is not really shown in a negative way are precious.
Clarence Boddicker is not only a metal name for a psycho bad guy, he has the best one-liner in an action film, by far: the famous “Bitches, leave!”.
The ED-209 being stop motion still looks very good to this day, it’s not backwards projection, maybe an early green screen of an in-camera effect, but did you know they made a life-sized ED-209 out of wood? Incredible.
