Revolt
Some kind of direct-to-DVD sci-fi romp, very light on plot, with silly effects. Lee Pace and a Bond girl hit it up, until she drops out of the film (probably dead by the end, it’s ambiguous). Not bad enough to hate.
I’m sure the main cast worked for pennies for an opportunity to film abroad, in alleged Kenya which turns out it’s Joburg. It’s some kind of abandoned colonial mine or something, the stereotypical African post-apocalyptic slum.
I was hoping for a kind of sleeper hit, since the robots are kinda similar to Metal Gear. But it’s just a truncated The War of the Worlds.
