The film equivalent of the diss track, mocking Tom Cruise mercilessly. There are so many Tom Cruise direct mentions, it’s clearly not an accident. The funniest thing is he can’t complain, is he gonna admit he doesn’t do his own stunts?
The film within a film is a big sci-fi epic, with a big battle sequence on a beach, with Emily Blunt down in the sand. I was on the Edge of my Tomorrow, I mean, seat.
I like that Colt spends part of the film trying to get coffee. Just like Hudson Hawk, I hope that’s a reference.
