28 Years Later: The Bone Temple

Is this official fan fiction? The Bible themes fit to a T. Zombies are metaphors again, I liked it better than the last one. The “In the House - In a Heartbeat” song still slaps, as much as the massive floppy dongs in full view.

The Jimmy gang continues to roam the land, looting hard earned resources. Their immaculate velour track suits are extremely creepy, and then they talk about Teletubbies and shit, while slitting throats and threaten violence. A bunch of manchildren with no empathy, with a Satanic crazed leader.

They induct the kid into the Jimmy gang, with a deathmatch for the place in the gang. The other guy underestimates him and fucks around, then finds out his femoral artery squishing blood all over. The kid is now Jimmy.

Their find and raid a small family unit, which ends up in “charity”, by flaying several people. The Kid can’t handle it, he is comforted by the gang’s Starscream, a woman that starts to notice the inconsistencies in the leader’s alleged vision.

In parallel, the doctor from the last time accidentally finds out how his morphine shots are a positive mental state of Samson, the big infected burly dude. The straight dope lets him say “Moon”.

After a series of anti-psychotic drugs, Samson is (almost) right as rain. He can talk, and remember pre-pandemic stuff, but the rest of the infected attack him.

The big climax is an Iron Maiden performance, then a small amounts of stabbings. The Jimmy dude is crucified upside down, the fate reserved for traitors. Old Nick punished him, at last.

The kid and Starscream go into the wild, where they are rescued by a Cillian cameo that doubles as negation of the previous infected “cameo”, and another sequel hook.

He is busy teaching history to her daughter, how avoiding another Treaty of Versailles situation stopped Nazism from rising ever again, the whole philosophy of “never again”.

She talks back, saying it was forgotten when the Soviet Union collapsed. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This is my place for ramblings about sequences of images that exploit the human visual limitation know as persistence of vision.
