Perfect, no notes. It overcomes it’s meta self-referential crutches, when it soars over a more relatable family drama. Siblings are the best.

Just like most Nordic dramas, it involves fucking Nazis. In this case, the homegrown collaborators, not the OG variant.

It’s all about the sisters. The father can win awards and shit, he’s basically a sideshow, not even exactly a trigger for the rest of the plot, just another stress point. The other sister’s husband is also a goofy-ass mouth-breather.

The scene where the 10 years old kid receives the present from his grandfather, and it’s a bunch raunchy DVD (The Piano Teacher, Irreversible) pulled some chucklegoofs in the theatre.

I could have swore I had seen the other sister in something, but now I understand, she’s a dead ringer for the lead from Nathan Barley. Really, they could be long lost sisters.
