Death Wish V
Not another one! This is the fashionista episode. This was after I was born, so Bronson was really old and decrepit, back in New York.
Even though the protagonist is the murderer, he’s the one put in the witness protection scheme! His girlfriend with a daughter (again) is a bigshot fashion designer.
Her ex husband is some Irish mobster with deep connections. The girlfriend was previously married to the mobster, so he takes the time to shake her down, by slashing her underlings with a fabric saw.
They shake down many other businesses in the most crass way possible. They are connected, there’s some mole in the DA’s office, but it’s kept ambiguous for a while. Some low level cop tries to put a wire on one of those workers but both are murdered! Cops can’t contain them.
After nearly killing his factory manager, beating her, showing up to their daughter covered in blood, she will testify against him, so the threats escalate. The woman is left near death in a fancy restaurant, by a psycho assassin that dresses in drag. That guy is a master of disguises, but he’s always recognisable. Once she leaves the hospital, she is hunted in his own home and murdered. Our protagonist is cucked by the law, he is strongly discouraged from vigilantism and abides for now.
He gets egg on his face, so vigilantism it is. He first murdered the idiot muscle by poisoning his cannoli, mamma mia!
What’s he doing, going around poisoning people, is he a woman now? Shoot people like men, you fucking poofter!
There wasn’t enough T&A on the screen for a while, so there’s a small bit where the villain forces some girl to give him a blowjob, but he can’t get it up! This is within earshot of his own daughter!
The other psycho assassin is relaxing in his bathtub with his slutty girlfriend, when our protagonist murders him with a booby trapped soccer ball! They are going down one by one.
There is no honour amongst thieves. On the assassin’s funeral, the dead guy’s girlfriend is being hit on by the rest of the mobsters, on account of her superior melons.
They ambush the protagonist in the same factory floor they use to shakedown people. A lot of indoor explosions later, they fail miserably to kill one geriatric dude with a snub-nosed six-shooter.
This is my place for ramblings about sequences of images that exploit the human visual limitation know as persistence of vision.
