Entrapment
A kind of low-rent The Thomas Crown Affair with less chemistry between the leads, probably due to the egregious age difference. Seriously, he’s lusting over her ass crossing the lasers, like he was drooling over his granddaughter.
Everything her was done better elsewhere. The Thomas Crown Affair is flashier in the heists and the bedroom, Mission: Impossible has more inventive stunts, freaking Johnny English has better high rise-based scenes. The big heist is lifted from Superman III! Some of those were released afterwards, but still, this hasn’t left much of a mark.
Sean Connery barely gives a fuck, like most of the post-Bond films, and Catherine Zeta-Jones is acting against a brick wall. She can shine of there’s an human being on the other side, like Intolerable Cruelty. Lusting over grandpa is beyond the pale.
That first office where she pitches her undercover work is the same from Hackers, that’s some visually unique place.
