American Pie: Reunion
This is a legacy sequel to something that doesn’t deserve it, or the bulk of Hollywood’s output these days. They get literally everyone back, mostly in cameos for the most obscure people, light and makeup do miracles these days.
They try to pair the worst parts of the drama, and at more raunchy sex comedy back again, mostly with the sexy girl next door.
There’s a modicum of acknowledgement the older films has some crap stuff, so they go sort of woke as much as someone can be, without alienating the core demographic of manchildren.
Even though it’s technically about growth and shit, 15 years later the characters are still man-babies, despite some being married and shit.
Even the psycho is humanised, again.
