Elektra
Another superhero film with a script that fits in a single page.
This film is simply too long. It’s not as bad as Nick of Time, but it’s close. To make it less boring they should have cut half of it, but I’m not sure it is salvageable. There’s at least 30 minutes of it that consist of Elektra doing nothing on a luxurious house in the woods. Acceptable in a real estate commercial, unacceptable in a feature film.
Jennifer Garner is cool, but there’s nothing else for her to do, nor for the rest of the cast.
Inventive special effects can’t save this from utter mediocrity.
