Duelling assassins working for a unknown messager on the internet. When yet another female criminal enters the fray, their allegiances twist and turn. But the bad guy is still the bad guy, victoria o muerte.
This was written by the Watchovskies, but you could not tell. Banderas is the star of the show, but Stallone’s grumbles his way into most scenes. Julianne Moore is an elite hacker sometimes, otherwise a damsel in distress.
What’s the matter with the subliminal messages? “No NRA” bus adverts, a woman with big boobs in a “Pro Choice” t-shirt. The tone doesn’t match duelling assassins.
