Now this is even more silly, if that could be possible. Less politically charged, absolutely ridiculous with a sci-fi vibe this time. Lady Gaga kills it as the Mission: Impossible assassin with perfect latex masks.
“Introducing” Carlos Estevez as the president, talking about “winning”, that’s yet another preposterous predicament. The rest of the gang is there: Jessica Alba does a bit part only, the girl from Spy Kids has a larger role, Michelle Rodriguez plays “herself”. The bad guy everybody hates and pretty much no one actually interacts with is Mel Gibson.
There are more special semi-cameos that have to be seen to be believed: Antonio Banderas doing his best “American with shitty Spanish accent”. Lady freaking Gaga in fabulous clothes. Amber Heard speaks passable Spanish, and does look ravishing.
There’s a Trump-style Home Alone 2-like cameo by Space X and Elon himself, very early into his public persona, dangerously close to PayPal days, before the hair plugs I guess. This aged poorly, with the whole Henry Ford cosplay, the double Nazi salute and all, but this is before he was divorced, he might have only single-digit amount of children with an unknowable amount of underlings.
Just as it goes completely Star Wars, it ends with a fake trailer for a sequel that did not happen.
