Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
A tight parody of James Bond films with a plot ripped of Demolition Man, and a bunch of gags lifted from other comedies like A Fish Called Wanda. The Powers Girl is Liz Hurley, as Vanessa Kensington, generic upper class sweater girl.
They get around in the Union Jack Shaguar, not named as so just yet.
Besides a brilliant sendup to Rosa Klebb, and Number Two, there’s also Random Task as Oddjob with more menial work, the Irish guy with “me lucky charms”, and Alotta Fagina.
Instead of sharks with freaking laser beams on their freaking heads, there is seabass. It’s all fish.
Scott Evil is still pissed at his dad’s ineptitude, and not even Princess Leia as a therapist can cure their ails.
For some reason, this is produced by Demi Moore. What?
