Saw VI

I can see why this was less popular, it’s less focus on the mythos dross, leaning more and more into the morality tale.

The central plot of a health insurance executive, played by Temu Peter O’Toole or Canadian Reece Shearsmith, following a series of sadistic choices mirroring his own work, deciding who lives or dies by denying every piece of coverage, fucking “pre-existing conditions” and the whole shebang. Even in gorefests the American healthcare system rears its ugly head. Obamacare is the scariest subsidy of them all.

First, a breath-off between him and the smoking janitor. A literal choice between a childless incel, and an old office lady. Hurting himself to rescue his office fling. The boss stack-ranking underling in a carousel of shotgun shots to the chest (he ranks by mammary volume, it seems).

All this while his wife and kid are stuck in a cage with acid sprinklers on a timer. But the twist is that it’s not his wife and kids, it’s a guy he denied healthcare! The kid is strong willed enough to pump the motherfucker full of acid, not the lysergic kind. There’s also a sensationalist journalist, but it’s a red herring, they ran out of budget to tell her story.

The cold opening is a pound-of-flesh competition between legal loan sharks, “payday lenders” as they are called.

Turns out Jigsaw is a woke libtard. “Decisions are not made by doctors or patients, nor the government. They are made by the fucking insurance companies”. His ex wife drives a Prius, on her way to gruesome murdering people.

Yeah, the lore is out of whack. The FBI agent who got shot in the head is akshually alive, and the circle is closing on the surviving cop. Apparently, the Jigsaw killer is more like Homer, at least four people with division of labour and shit. You can have murder in the way you like, as long as it’s gruesome.

That shotgun carousel is like Hot or Not on steroids. “Spineless pussywhip motherfucker”.

Why the fuck is the healthcare company called Umbrella? Resident Evil has better films, with slightly less gore.
