The female cast is really incredible, such veteran actresses in service of stock parodies. There’s the English prim and proper lady, the Italian blind sculptor, the French poetry salon madame. The rest are healthcare based jokes: the one-legged woman driving around in a mobility scooter, the feisty woman that is actually in the verge of dying, and the food fetishist.
Several of them hire the gigolo to make their husbands jealous, or to recreated their dead husband’s company. The food woman just wants to see him eat, and that immediately turns into When Harry Met Sally….
His agent is some Cyrano from work, he’s got the words to woo the old ladies, but no body for flaunting. The other is the comic relief, to be bullied by everyone else.
The protagonist is being tormented by three other forces: a rival older gigolo, the female gold digger ex-girlfriend, and the grifter co-worker, alternatively looking for freebies or cold hard cash.
Then there’s the puns, oh god, the puns. Scooby-Dói.
