This is a genre now: If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, Die My Love, Vivarium. This is slightly less indie since it’s bankrolled by Larry Ellison’s cool kid, but Amy Adams is even more perfect for the role.
It’s actually not a dog-eat-dog world. The other idiot mothers are actually cool, bonding over motherhood is fine. The city slickers admit some suburban artist can create avant garde pieces. The hubby admits he was wrong to blindly acquiesce to her.
