This script will not choose a path between being a gritty zombie flick, or a sugary teen romance. But it doesn’t go full Warm Bodies either. It’s just a bleak and depressing pandemic film.
Arnie is about to whoop some ass, but he is interrupted by his daughter, for crying out loud! If the Governor of California can’t beat up a cop with an axe invoking the Castle Doctrine, standing his ground, what the hell is he doing there, then? Go pound sand!.
