Bad Apples
This is not The Teachers’ Lounge, that’s for sure, even though it’s based on some Swedish novel. It’s some kind of horror film where the villain protagonist wins.
Either that or a preposterous take on special needs schools or something, an high brow Idiocracy. Making the evil violent kid the son of an apparent single father, and the evil emotionally manipulative kid the daughter of a rich aloof family just drives the point home: fuck the poors. The rich antisocial behaviour is socially acceptable, but not the chav kind.
Don’t confuse this with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the chav is Mike Teevee, and the rich kid is Violet Beauregard.
