Final Destination Bloodlines

Another Rube Goldberg killing machine, you have seen one, you have seen them all. They even brought back Tony Todd one last time, I bet he took half the salary budget. The rest as always is not spent on plot or actors, only in effects and some minor soundtrack hits.

Just like all the other films (except 3 which had Mary Elizabeth Winsted), this is a producer driven film through and through, the actors are random Canadian people they pick up along the way.

There’s a Jennifer Coolidge lookalike and everything, I laughed out loud when she goes very serious and tells her son his newly dead father is not his true father.

That piercings dude is the only real character, his “siblings” are literally the dumbest possible middle class kid stereotypes, a bimbo and a literal mouth breather jock.

There are some ironic quotes from the previous films, mostly involving near misses everywhere.

This is my place for ramblings about sequences of images that exploit the human visual limitation know as persistence of vision.
