Footloose meets Hairspray. Came for Linda Fiorentino, but she’s only a bit part, as the speakeasy owner. The lead is literally a James Dean clone, a dead ringer.

This is an incredible mix of musical, stereotypical James Bond flick, and noir adventure, in that order. Mamma mia!

Hulk Hogan is not Batista, much less The Rock. He’s just a washed out wrestler trying and failing to make the leap into acting, but he just don’t have what it takes.

What can I say, this is another ZAZ flick, with only some of those letters. Mostly parodying Top Gun, but also very obscure deep cuts I didn’t catch. It’s fine.

This is a squeaky fucking clean Hollywood film, about as left wing as morally possible in America: the f-word (fascism) is dropped only once in the final monologue.
