Blade
Now that’s a Marvel film I can get behind. Beats Black Panther in every single metric. It’s not even an origin story!
The opening scene is glorious, and the rest of the film stands up to scrutiny. Even the sequels are good.
The action scenes are a just a bit too much cranked up, it’s goofy at spaces. I though that part towards the end where the vampire SWAT form up in a large room with columns was a The Matrix reference, but it might as well be the other way around. Wanted might have copied the finale from here.
Blade also uses a bike to smash his way into the bad guys lair, just like Trinity in Reloaded.
